Quellenexegese aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Judaistik, Note: 0,0, Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg, Veranstaltung: Bibel- und Bibelauslegung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Buch Rut erzählt die Geschichte einer Rückkehr aus dem Exil. In dieser Arbeit wird das Werk zunächst im Kontext des Tanach, der 24 Bücher umfassenden jüdischen Bibel, verortet. Danach wird die weitere Rezeption desselben in der traditionellen Exegese dargestellt. Im Anschluss wird anhand des Zusammenspiels von Form und Inhalt versucht, das Verständnis der zentralen Themen Exil und Identität in Rut zu erläutern. Dies soll sowohl aus Sicht des Verfassers, als auch seines möglichen Lesepublikums beleuchtet werden und dabei den zeitgeschichtlichen Entstehungsrahmen mit einbeziehen.
