Synopsis "El Primer Amor (in Catalan)"

(Ernest Hemingway)

Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev (1818-1883) was a Russian novelist, playwright, and poet, recognized for his role in 19th century realistic literature. His most influential work is Fathers and Sons (1862), which introduced the concept of nihilism and marked a milestone in Russian narrative. Other notable works include Diary of a Superfluous Man (1850), A Nest of the Gentry (1859), and Torrents of Spring (1872), among others.

Turgenev primarily wrote novels, stories, and plays, characterized by an elegant style and a deep psychological exploration of the characters. His work influenced authors like Tolstoy and Dostoevsky.
