Trotzdem ist auf den ersten Blick nicht offensichtlich, ob überhaupt Betrug oder Unterschlagung vorliegt. Wer könnte profitieren?Vanessa dreht auf Jamaika. Ihre Tochter Cosima will sie besuchen, und so nimmt George die Kleine nach Weihnachten mit auf die Insel. In den frühen Morgenstunden des 1. Januars weckt ihn Laura. Vanessa ist am Telefon. Cosima ist entführt worden.In Houston sind es drei Männer, die das Studio betrügen. Darunter ist der Sendeleiter, Oliver Pratt. Zudem ist ein Erpresser in die Sache verwickelt. Pratts Ehefrau Ann ist in Texas eine bekannte Politikerin und hat Aussichten, demnächst zum Governor gewählt zu werden. Nun wird es selbst für George recht kompliziert. Er muss drei Männer loswerden, darf kein Aufsehen erregen und kann nur ein paar Getreue einweihen. Wie soll er vorgehen?
