Jahrhundert antizipierende Formen der Legitimierung gesellschaftlicher Praxis hervorbrachte, ist das systematische Erkenntnisinteresse der in diesem Band gesammelten Beitrge. Sie sind aus dem Symposion zum Thema "Die Politisierung des Utopischen im 18. Jahrhundert" hervorgegangen, das im Frhjahr 1995 am Interdisziplinren Zentrum fr die Erforschung der Europischen Aufklrung in Halle stattgefunden hat.
