Synopsis "Die Einstellungsforschung im Kontext der Dissonanz- und Selbstwahrnehmungstheorie: Untersuchungen zur Einstellungsbildung und -Änderung (in German)"

Der in dieser Arbeit vorgestellte Erklärungsansatz zur Einstellungsbildung und -änderung postuliert, dass die Selbstwahrnehmungstheorie die Einstellungsbildung, die Dissonanztheorie die Einstellungsänderung zu erklären vermag. Um diese Aussage empirisch zu testen, führten die Autoren ein Laborexperiment durch, bei dem die Probanden forciert wurden, entweder einer oder zwei einstellungsdiskrepanten Handlungen zum Thema 20min zuzustimmen. Erhoben wurden die prä- und post-manipulative Einstellungsvalenz und -intensität sowie das prä- und post-manipulative Arousal.
