Synopsis "Diario de Pilar en Africa (in Spanish)"

Pilar, Breno, and Samba travel to Africa where they meet a Yoruba princess named Fummi. Fammi's family and entire village have been captured by slave merchants and they must try to save them before it's too late. Their mission is arduous; they must travel from Nigeria to Angola and face all sorts of dangers in their fight for liberty and justice.

Flávia Lins e Silva, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1971, is a Brazilian writer, journalist, and screenwriter specialized in children's and youth literature. She studied journalism at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and earned a master's degree in Children's and Youth Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Among her most notable works is the "Diario de Pilar" series, which has been translated into several languages, including Spanish, and adapted into an animated series for the Disney Channel. Additionally, she created the TV series "Detetives do Prédio Azul", which has been successful in Brazil. In 2011, her book "Mururu in the Amazon" was included in the prestigious "The White Ravens" catalog.
