Conan ha solucionado el caso del espectáculo de magia sangrienta con una inesperada ayuda: la de Kid el ladrón, que se había ocultado tras la falsa identidad de Rik Donal. Por supuesto, el esquivo ladrón logra esfumarse de nuevo mientras Shinichi, atrapado en el cuerpo del pequeño Conan, se muere de rabia. Después de la aventura nevada, Conan, Ran y Mouri deciden darse un capricho y asistir al concierto de Yoko, la cantante favorita de Mouri y que fue protagonista de uno de los primeros casos de Conan como detective. Sin embargo, jamás llegan a ese concierto ya que se ven envueltos en un triste caso de asesinato en el que una joven asesina a sangre fría a su hermana, celosa porque cree que ésta le ha robado su novio. Para animar a Conan, el profesor Agase se lleva a todos los detectives infantiles de acampada, pero se pierden y acaban encerrados en un extraño castillo en medio del bosque. Gōshō Aoyama (青山 剛昌), born on June 21, 1963 in Hokuei, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, is a prominent Japanese mangaka known for his ability to blend mystery, humor, and visual storytelling in his works. He debuted in 1987 with the one-shot Chotto Mattete and gained fame with Yaiba (1988–1993), an adventure series that earned him the Shōgakukan Award for best shōnen manga in 1993. That same year, he started publishing Magic Kaito, featuring the charismatic thief Kaito Kid, a character who also appears in his most famous work.

In 1994, Aoyama began Detective Conan (Meitantei Conan), a mystery and crime series that has exceeded 100 volumes and has been adapted into anime, movies, and video games. In 2001, he again received the Shōgakukan Award for best shōnen manga for this work. His hometown, Hokuei, has honored his legacy with statues of the characters and the opening of the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory in 2007. Aoyama continues to be an influential figure in contemporary manga, with a career that combines commercial success and critical acclaim.
