He holds a B.A. in Ḥadīth and Islamic Studies (Madina, 1991), an M.A. in Theology and Islamic Studies (Makka, 1994), and a Ph.D. in Philosophy & Comparative Religions (National University of Malaysia, 2000), plus a 2020 certificate in arbitration (Norwegian Centre for Arbitration & Legal Services). He is Director of the Iqra Foundation and Imam of Tawfiiq Islamic Centre, Oslo. He has written and published a lot.
