Synopsis "Dark Grey "

Leonel wakes up expecting to hear the forest sounds around his camp. Instead he is lying on a hard surface, and hears a hum and feels a vibration deep in his very being. He is greeted by a tall white haired man who introduces himself as Ekolore and explains to Leonel that he has been brought on aboard an interplanetary craft to complete Leonel'sgenetic augmentation. When Leonel is returned to earth, he thinks he had a weird dream until he discovers his food has gone bad and he starts to see changes in his perceptions, of his surrounds. He arrives home and finds he has been missing for three weeks. He contacts his work and has an interview with his manager who informs him that she is the leader of a group of people who are highly advanced 'energy managers' calling themselves 'The Light', who are able to read and manipulate peoples thoughts and physical energies. She tell him that he has become a part of thatelite group, but hints that for him it is a more dangerous place than before.He is introduced to members of the group who are tasked with helping him learn to use his new abilities and help protect him from the dangers of his new world. Of those he meets one is a young woman half Latino and half Japanese, an Afro-American woman, an elderly First Nations Shaman, who is able to call on beings from other dimensions, an impertinent young manof European origin, and an Irish woman who can call on the wee folk. All skill in different abilities of energy manipulation.
