El libro “Cuando conocí a Nemesio” recoge veinticinco relatos de personas que tuvieron diferentes vínculos
con el protagonista: familia, amigos y colegas. Estos relatos conforman la memoria de un hombre crucial
para la historia de Chile en el siglo XX. En esta oportunidad queremos congregar, bajo el
espíritu nemesiano, a los veinticinco entrevistados para conmemorar la extraordinaria vida del artista,
comunicador, gestor y gran amigo Nemesio Antúnez. Para este propósito compartiremos un vino de honor al
son de el poeta y músico Mauricio Redolés.

Ximena Vial holds a PhD in History from the University of Birmingham (2024) and a Master's in Anthropology from Columbia University (2016). She has used oral history as a tool to explore both collective and individual memory of various groups, particularly migrants and women. She is a faculty member at Diego Portales University and has published the books When I Met Nemesio… (2019), Goddesses of the Intimate (2021), and From Victims to Survivors (2023). She has developed a project aimed at democratizing knowledge and promoting activist teaching called Historiadicta.
