In 1939, as the shadows of war gather over Europe, Maurice Waldenstein moves his family from their desirable home in London's Holland Park, to rural Herefordshire, where his precious daughter Ginny dreams of becoming a ballerina. The war changes their lives dramatically however, and Ginny, now an attractive young woman, abandons her dependable fiancé, flying out to join her bosom buddy girl friends in vibrant Montreal. Taking a job in a top-notch advertising firm Ginny is soon being wined, dined and a whole lot more - enjoying heady sexual adventures. She finds however that the road to romance is not a straight one and that passion can sometimes come at a high price. Spanning the period backdrops of post-war London, Montreal, New York and Florida, and with intimate, uninhibited descriptions of female physical pleasure, 'Circles In A Spiral' is an arousing, suspenseful, and ultimately heart-warming story of one woman's quest for love, passion and fulfilment, and of her struggle to resolve all three.
