Millard J. Erickson (born June 24, 1932 in Isanti County, Minnesota) is an American evangelical theologian, pastor, and professor of theology. He earned his B.A. at the University of Minnesota, B.D. at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.A. at the University of Chicago, and Ph.D. at Northwestern University. He has taught at various institutions, including Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Western Seminary (Portland and San Jose), and Baylor University. Erickson is known for his conservative and moderately Calvinistic approach within evangelical Protestantism

Among his most notable works is Christian Theology (1983), translated into Spanish as Systematic Theology, considered a fundamental reference in contemporary evangelical theology. The third edition, published in 2013, has been updated to address current theological debates and is widely used in seminaries and universities. Other notable works include Introducing Christian Doctrine (1992) and A Basic Guide to Eschatology (1998). Erickson has also been critical of trends such as process theology and postmodernism within Christianity.
