I swear that Serigne Saliou is Serigne Touba!!! I swear that he is Serigne Touba and [the fear of saying it in public] has been taken away from me. And there is nobody on the earth to prevent me from saying so and letting it be known. He is not the equal of anyone. If you try to compare him to your father, it is like you are humiliating your father. No matter how high the station of your father may be, he is not the equal of Serigne Saliou. Serigne Saliou is not the equal of anybody's father. The most obvious proof of this is me.... The other sons have come and passed away, but none of them has made a Cheikh. If you are not a son of Serigne Touba, then a son of Serigne Touba is better than you. The sons of Serigne Touba are better than anyone who is not a son of Serigne Touba.
