Located at the Arrowhead area, once territory of the Cherokee tribe, the infamous Arthur Broderick has built an expansive secret compound and is doing scientific research to develop atomic weapons and other instruments of mass destruction. The boys' adult friend and confidant Justice Blackwater, a half-blood Cherokee, told them the Arrowhead is cursed and often warned the boys never to go near Broderick's Arrowhead property. Danny and Herb had no intention of ever going there, but soon realize fate doesn't always give you a choice and that providence and destiny can be overpowering forces.
