Synopsis "Asylwut (in German)"

Kaufbeuren/Allgäu Im Stadtteil Neugablonz brennt ein Asylbewerberheim, das kurz vor der Eröffnung steht. Schnell wird klar, es handelt sich um Brandstiftung. Der Bürgermeister kündigt an, das Heim schnell wieder zu sanieren. Tage später wird ein Anschlag während einer gro en Benefiz-Motorradausfahrt verübt. Mehrere Biker werden zum Teil schwer verletzt. Vor Ort findet die Kriminalpolizei unter der Leitung des Hauptkommissars Vincent Zeller ein Erpresserschreiben. Die Forderung: Kaufbeuren soll asylfrei werden. Die Stadt geht nicht darauf ein, doch dem oder den Tätern ist jedes Mittel recht um ihr Ziel zu erreichen. Dass dabei unschuldige Menschen zu Schaden kommen, wird dabei skrupellos in Kauf genommen. Die Kripo eröffnet die Jagd ... Bald führen die Spuren in die hohe Kommunalpolitik. Der Rassismus ist im Stadtrat angekommen.
