EN Thus Be Benoîte Groult is a polyphonic, bilingual play that retraces -through fragments- the life, struggles, and legacy of feminist writer Benoîte Groult. Blending reality and fiction, past and present, drawing and speech, the play stages dialogues between Benoîte and her doubles (George, Catel), her memories, her readings, and the women she inspired. The piece explores themes of aging, desire, transmission, female freedom, and the relationship to the body and the sea. It is designed for an engaged troupe, in an open, evolving form, intended for education, remembrance, and collective creation.
