Synopsis "Adolf Lehnert (in German)"

Franz Robert Adolf Lehnert ( 20. Juli 1862 in Leipzig; 6. Januar 1948 ebenda) war ein Bildhauer in Leipzig. Adolf Lehnert studierte ab 1880 in Leipzig bei Melchior Zur Straen und lehrte von 1886 bis 1924 an der Kunstakademie in Leipzig. Im Jahr 1896 wurde er zum Professor ernannt. Schler waren unter anderen Kurt Schmid-Ehmen und Fritz Zalisz. Fr viele Jahre wohnte und arbeitete Lehnert in Markkleeberg in der Mozartstrae 1 sowie in Sttteritz. Adolf Lehnert wurde auf dem Leipziger Sdfriedhof beigesetzt (V. Abteilung). Das Familiengrab schuf er nach dem Tod seiner ersten Ehefrau Else Riedel ( 1909) selbst.
