Synopsis "Accidents at work in the poultry slaughtering and cutting industry"

In class societies that came with industrialization, the health of workers follows the steps of their productive restructuring and the asymmetry of social relations inside and outside of work. To reinforce the thesis of the social determination of class health, supported by many researchers, the doctoral student took the example of the accidents that occur with the industrialization of chicken meat in Brazil, using the condition of work doctor of companies in the industry for four years and expert doctor of Social Security. He observed that there was contradiction in the information of the frigorific with the social security, such disparity pointed there was much more than simple evasion. He contextualized the development of this industrial branch, the process and material conditions of production, the demands of the work and the possible harm to the health of its workers, hence the inference he makes about the confluence of external causes, coming from the business world and socially more determining, connected to internal causes of production, to compose a complex, non-linear causality, responsible both for the existence of accidents and work illnesses, and for the culpable or malicious non-communication to Social Security.
