Thea Chamberlin is at a crossroads in her life and she and her three children are in the process of rebuilding their lives. A Scary Kind of Honesty is about developing relationships and telling the truth, even though Thea, Jim and MaryAnn run the risk of losing those people closest to them. It is a parallel story of two women, their families, and how they each cope with their day-to-day lives. The novel is the sequel to Each Time We Say Goodbye and continues the saga of the Chamberlin family, with the addition of some interesting new characters. The third in the trilogy will be available sometime in 2014.
