Max Miller (born March 30, 1983) is an American YouTuber and chef, known for creating and hosting "Tasting History", a web show that combines cooking and history by recreating ancient or historical recipes and explaining the context surrounding them. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Miller developed an interest in history from a young age and, after earning a degree in classical music at Arizona State University, moved to New York to train in musical theater
In 2019, he launched his YouTube channel "Tasting History with Max Miller", where every Tuesday he presents a historical dish while exploring the history around it. In April 2023, he published his first book, "Tasting History: Explore the Past Through 4,000 Years of Recipes", which became a bestseller according to the New York Times. In 2024, he co-hosted the cooking show "Clash of the Cookbooks" on The Roku Channel, alongside Phoebe Robinson.
