Fachbuch aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Kunst - Malerei, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die einflussreichste naive Malerin Frankreichs war die Künstlerin Séraphine (1864-1942), eigentlich Séraphine Louis, manchmal auch Séraphine de Senlis genannt. Ihre mystisch-religiösen Bilder zeigen meistens Pflanzen und offenbaren eine suggestive Phantasie. Eines ihrer bekanntesten Werke hei t "Der rote Baum" und ist um 1927/1928 entstanden. Das Original wird im "Musée National d'Art Moderne" in Paris, aufbewahrt. Wegen einer chronischen Psychose mit Grö enwahnvorstellungen und Verfolgungswahn verbrachte Séraphine die letzten zehn Jahre ihres Lebens in einer psychiatrischen Anstalt.
