Synopsis "The Setting Sun"

Three years ago, Pitso won Zinzi's heart amidst the rivalry and romance of boarding school. That was the beginning. Their connection felt unbreakable, a promise whispered under pale blue skies, the two seemingly destined for forever. But forever is a long time when you're young. Zinzi embarks on a new chapter, pursuing Law at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Immersed in the vibrant, unfamiliar world of a new city, she grapples with the challenge of navigating new friendships, a new culture and language, and the undeniable allure of fresh possibilities. Meanwhile, the distance stretches between her and Pitso, pulling at the seams of their seemingly perfect bond.As the world converges on South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Zinzi finds herself navigating more than just lectures and libraries. Kilometres apart, caught between treasured memories and tempting futures, Pitso and Zinzi must confront the hardest question: Can first love survive the true tests of time, distance, and the magnetic pull of separate lives? Will the foundation they built withstand the seismic shifts of growing up and growing apart?
