Synopsis "SUSAN"

SUSANA play by Ian Skatu“Do you care who she is?”What began as a WhatsApp conversation between Ian Skatu and actress Ranessa became a 10-minute play – and then something much bigger. SUSAN is the story of one woman, told as three: fractured, reassembled, and staring back at the audience through a single performer’s transformation. The original 10-minute version premiered at Short+Sweet Malaysia at KLPAC – Southeast Asia’s most prominent short-form theatre festival — and won Best Script (Ian Skatu) and Best Actress (Ranessa). This book collects the full script, alongside rehearsal and production photography by Tan Meng Song, as SUSAN grows into its full-length world premiere.Images are for illustration purposes only.
