Synopsis "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter, Book 6) "

The war against Voldemort is not going well; even Muggle governments are noticing. Ron scans the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet, looking for familiar names. Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses. And yet...As in all wars, life goes on. Sixth-year students learn to Apparate - and lose a few eyebrows in the process. The Weasley twins expand their business. Teenagers flirt and fight and fall in love. Classes are never straightforward, though Harry receives some extraordinary help from the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.

Joanne Rowling (Yate, 1965), known worldwide as J.K. Rowling, is a British writer and screenwriter who has left a deep mark on contemporary literature thanks to the creation of the Harry Potter saga. Her work not only revolutionized children's and young adult literature, but also became a global cultural phenomenon. Before achieving success, Rowling studied Philology and worked in various jobs, including Amnesty International. It was during a train journey when the idea of Harry Potter emerged, which, after overcoming personal difficulties such as the loss of her mother and raising her daughter alone, managed to publish in 1997 after several editorial rejections. The Harry Potter saga, with more than 600 million copies sold and translated into multiple languages, is her most influential work. She also writes crime novels under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, showing her versatility as an author.

In 2020, J.K. Rowling returned to writing for children with the fairy tale The Ickabog, which she first published for free online during the lockdown; later she donated all the book's royalties to help the most vulnerable groups affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. J.K. Rowling confesses she always wanted to be a writer. She lives in Scotland with her family.
