God's Centurion - Michael McGavin

The Centurion is an immortal Roman warrior who received a divine charge two millennia ago, transforming him from a legionary into a tireless soldier of the Lord. His mission is the relentless prosecution of a 2,000-year-long spiritual and physical war against the forces of darkness. Operating in the modern era, the Centurion's campaign is two-fold: first, to systematically cleanse the physical world of monstrous manifestations, including demons, the infected, and strange biological mutants corrupted by spiritual decay; and second, to inspire a widespread and genuine return to faith among humanity. He leads a small, dedicated group, employing ancient steel, unparalleled military doctrine, and profound spiritual authority. The Centurion's ultimate goal is not merely to defeat monsters, but to strip the high-ranking demons of their inherent hateful certainty and witness humanity embrace the love and grace of the Lord. He understands that while low-level "naughtiness" and bureaucratic malaise will persist, the significant victory achieved here marks a decisive turning point in the endless war.
