Sandra Plevisani
Sandra Plevisani was born in Lima, Peru, in 1963. She studied Graphic Design and then her passion led her to fully dedicate herself to cooking and baking.

Together with her husband, Ugo Plevisani, she opened her first restaurant in Lima called La Trattoria di Mambrino. Sandra created the dessert menu with Ugo's and their daughters' favorites, such as the famous chocolate mousse, which today is a classic and favorite among her followers and diners in her restaurants.

She wrote her first book Sweet Passion as a tribute to her second daughter Camilla, who died of cancer at the age of 11.

She published with the University San Martín de Porres The Great Peruvian Dessert Book, which won in the Latin American cooking book category at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, the most important event in gastronomic literature.

Today, after having published 56 books, hosted the television show Sweet Secrets for more than 17 years, and served as the face of renowned brands, she continues to travel the country and the world in search of recipes and giving us the secrets to satisfy the sweetest cravings.
