Synopsis "Um cattura la luna: La creazione del Giardino di Iside all'origine della scienza Matematica (in Italian)"

In the 6th century BC. Pythagoras introduces mathematical science and the scientific spirit to the West starting from the theorem that bears his name, but no one has explained to us through what experiences it was possible to determine the value of the sides of the 3-4-5 triangle. They are values simply taken for granted. Um, the protagonist of this story, a young woman originally from sub-Saharan Africa, who lived in the Stone Age, through a series of sensory experiences exercised on the nature that surrounded her, managed to draw the moon and its phases by imprisoning its images within a rectangle, the sacred precinct of Isis.
