Synopsis "The Rescue Party "

Connie, single, vivacious and thirtyish abandons everything at the drop of a hat, coincidentally as everything seems to be dropping her, to answer an urgent distress call from her closest and oldest friend Sam, the chic, young Features Editor of a top society glossy magazine. Sam is inconsolable having been unceremoniously dumped without a moment's warning by the deep love of her life, the bounder, cad, or in modern parlance - absolute shit, the devilishly handsome Ralph. Avoiding pitfalls that seem destined to thwart her every move Connie unselfishly embarks on the long haul to rebuild Sam's life and in so doing is rewarded by finding her own destiny unexpectedly revitalized in a fast moving tale that doesn't shy away from sex, lives the high life on a budget, warns against the influence of drugs and empathises with dog lovers and dog haters alike.
