Synopsis "Libraries as Places: Buildings for the 21St Century (Ifla Publications) "

"This collective volume is one of the most important works presenting the new role of libraries and therefore provides the theoretical basis for all new library buildings. The book presents innovative developments and visions of how library planning and construction can be implemented in the future in a dialogue between architects and librarians." Prof. Dr. Claudia Lux, Director General of the Foundation Central and Regional Library Berlin
