About the AuthorAdrian Rogers was born and educated in England, moving to Ireland in 1969 to teach Music and English - both north and south of the border. In 1978 with his wife he moved to the Shetland Islands, in 1985 to Australia, and in 1992 to Papua New Guinea - teaching at the Internation School in Lae. In 1993 he returned to Australia, where he taught music privately until retiring in 2005.He now focuses on writing stories, and above all poetry as the music of words. He has four fantasy novels published in Canada, two in Queensland, and numerous poetry collections published in Adelaide by Ginninderra Press. He has contributed poetry, essays and short stories, to many Australian periodicals, and also as contributions to anthologies. His work is influenced by his surroundings, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences. As for its style, he prefers to let the poetry speak for itself. About The BookIn this book I have caught life's journey through two images, in forty-five poems. First, the climbing of Croagh Patrick - the holy mountain of Ireland. I have done it myself, following in the footsteps of St. Patrick. Then life's journey is viewed as a long sea voyage through storm and calm, from now to 'Beyond the Barrier'.

Adrian Pierce Rogers fue un reconocido pastor, predicador, maestro bíblico y escritor bautista estadounidense. Nació el 12 de septiembre de 1931 en West Palm Beach, Florida, Estados Unidos. A los 19 años decidió dedicarse al ministerio cristiano. Estudió en la Universidad Stetson y posteriormente en el Seminario Teológico Bautista de Nueva Orleans, donde completó su formación religiosa.

En 1972 se convirtió en pastor principal de la Iglesia Bautista Bellevue, en Memphis, Tennessee. Durante su liderazgo, la congregación creció considerablemente, pasando de unos 9.000 miembros a más de 29.000. También tuvo una importante participación en la Convención Bautista del Sur, de la cual fue presidente en tres períodos.
