Synopsis "Evaluation of the Implementation of Civic Education Curriculum: In Senior Secondary Schools of Bauchi State, Nigeria.DE"

This book evaluated the implementation of civic education curriculum in senior secondary schools in Bauchi State, Nigeria. The study was conducted using a descriptive survey design which involved the use of questionnaire. Five (5) research questions and four (4) hypotheses guided the study. The population of the study consisted of all civic education teachers in senior secondary schools of Bauchi Metropolitan. The population of civic education teachers' is 46 civic education teachers in public schools and 32 civic education teachers in private schools; total population is seventy eight (78) civic education teachers' from 23 public senior secondary school and 16 private secondary schools. Purposive sampling technique was used. The instrument for data collection for this study is Evaluation of Teacher's on Implementation of Civic Education Curriculum Questionnaire (ETICECQ), Face and content validity of the instrument was established, the reliability coefficient of the instrument is 0.84. The instrument was administered to the civic Education teachers' by the researcher and research assistant. Data collected were analysed through the use of descriptive statistics.
