Die Geschichte handelt von Jule Busch, einer Frau, die eines Tages in einem dunklen, feuchten Kellerverlies erwacht, ohne zu wissen, wie sie dorthin gekommen ist. Sie ist verletzt, gefesselt und isoliert - und umgeben von Dunkelheit, Geräuschen und einer blechernen Stimme, die über einen Stimmenverzerrer mit ihr spricht. Während Jule verzweifelt versucht zu überleben, kämpft sie auch mit ihren Erinnerungen: Was ist passiert? Wer hat sie hierhergebracht? Stück für Stück setzt sie Bruchstücke zusammen - den Geruch von Öl, das Quietschen von Schienen, die Nähe zu Stra enbahnen - bis sie vermutet, dass sie sich irgendwo in einem alten Depot am Rande von Bremen befindet.
