Graduated in Economics from the University of Belgrano, with postgraduate degrees from IDES and Torcuato Di Tella University, and an Honorary Doctorate from ESEADE. He was ranked by Johns Hopkins University as the second most influential economist in Spanish-speaking countries and the United States. After leaving a promising career as a soccer goalkeeper early, he embraced economics and held significant positions in top-tier companies and firms. He wrote and published books and papers, hosted radio shows, and debated tirelessly on television, and it was this path that led him to dive deeply into Argentine political discussion, where he soon emerged as a unique and magnetic voice. An enemy of correctness as it is understood today and a fighter against the political caste, he led his group La Libertad Avanza in a revolution of ideas with which, after reaching the Chamber of Deputies, he rose as a presidential candidate in Argentina with a huge projection throughout the country.
