Synopsis "Downhill from Here: Running from John O'Groats to Land's End"

A memoir of one average runner who decided to tackle the longest linear run in Britain. Nearing 40 years-old, Gavin Boyter was a Scottish man living in London whose dreams of a film career were quickly evaporating. He decided to run mainland Britain from end to end while filming and writing about his experience. Downhill from Here is the result, written in such an engaging and witty voice the reader accompanies him every step of the way.
