Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Ältere Deutsche Literatur, Mediävistik, Note: Gut, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (Institut für Deutsche Sprache I), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die hier vorliegende Analyse hat die Absicht, dem Leser den Lebensweg und das Schaffen des aus Oberfranken stammenden Künstlers Lucas Cranach d. Ä. vorzustellen. Neben biographischen Angaben zur Person und einem zusammengefassten Überblick über die religions - historischen Ereignissen aus der Zeit Cranachs, konzentriert sich dieser Text vor allem auf eines der bekanntesten Werke des Künstlers, auf das "Passional Christi und Antichristi" (bzw. in der lateinischen Ausgabe "Antithesis figurata vitae Christi et Antichristi"), das als erstes und einziges antipäpstliches "Passional" in der Kunst im Mai 1521 in Wittenberg erschien und die lutherisch - antipäpstliche Polemik thematisierte.
