È importante comprendere e quantificare l'effetto che queste funzionalità Web 2.0 hanno sul mondo dell'allenamento sportivo. È stato sviluppato uno specifico ambiente di apprendimento basato sul web come strumento per testare l'impatto delle tecnologie utilizzate dai soggetti sul loro apprendimento. I soggetti di tutti i gruppi hanno poi ripetuto la valutazione e compilato un modulo di feedback. I risultati sono stati significativi.
