Synopsis "Cinco de Mayo: The Fighting Women of Mexico "

The Hidalgo sisters never wanted to fight for what they loved, but when the French invaded their country, they joined and led the fight to free their people and the men they loved from the talons of tyranny."Be safe, my brave warrior," Lupe called to Vicente. He rode away toward the fighting like he did every day, when the air recoiled with thunderous blasts from French cannons. Every person froze, their eyes looked from one to another in horror. The French had introduced artillery into the fight. They knew that cannonballs threw shrapnel when they exploded, maiming more men than they killed.Live through Vincente and Lupita's adventures in author Michael Black's third book. Set in Mexico in the days of the French Intervention, you'll be swept into the story of life, love and war, on the day they call Cinco de Mayo.
