Yan Schenkel
Yan Schenkel is an Argentine designer and crocheter. Trained in industrial design and graphic design, she began crocheting while waiting for her son at school. In 2009, she started blending her drawings with three-dimensional technique, and thus the Pica Pau band was born, now known worldwide. Besides designing her toys, she has collaborated on all sorts of projects, from illustrating children's books to creating a crochet stop motion advertisement. She contributes to publications like Mollie Makes, The Sewing Box, and Simply Crochet.
