Samantha M. Bailey
Samantha M. Bailey is a Canadian writer of psychological thrillers, journalist, and freelance editor based in Toronto. Her debut novel, Woman on the Edge (2019), translated into Spanish as Sé lo que quieres, became an international success and was adapted for a television series. Bailey has contributed to publications such as NOW Magazine and Oxford University Press, and co-founded BookBuzz, an interactive event between authors and readers in New York and Toronto.
Her second book, Watch Out for Her (2022), was a finalist in the Canada Reads 2025 contest. In 2024, she published A Friend in the Dark, which reached the top spots on the Amazon Charts. Her most recent work, Hello, Juliet, was released in April 2025. Bailey's novels, sold in more than twelve countries, are noted for their narrative tension and exploration of complex female relationships.
