Salvador Carrillo Alday
Salvador Carrillo Alday (Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, 1927), missionary of the Holy Spirit, was ordained a priest in 1953 in Rome, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Theology (1954). He later graduated from the École Biblique Française de Jérusalem (1956) and earned a doctorate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Commission of the Vatican (Rome, 1967).
Professor of Old and New Testament at the Theologate of the M.Sp.S. and professor of New Testament at the Higher Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies (1967-1981), he is the founder and promoter of the Holy Spirit Biblical Schools (EBES), with many hundreds of students committed to biblical pastoral work.
