Romina Garber
Romina Garber (Buenos Aires, 1984) is an Argentine-American author internationally recognized for her ability to merge fantasy, science fiction, and mythology with themes of identity, immigration, and female empowerment. She moved to the United States at the age of five and grew up in Miami, where she began her literary career as a teenage columnist at the Miami Herald with the Sunday column “College She Wrote”. A Harvard graduate, Garber gained fame under the pseudonym Romina Russell with the Zodiac series, consisting of Zodiac, Wandering Star, Black Moon, and Thirteen Rising, a science fiction series set in a universe governed by astrological signs.

Later, under her real name, she published the Wolves of No World series, which includes Lobizona and Cazadora, combining Argentine folklore with urban fantasy and addressing themes of immigration and belonging. In 2024, she released Castle of the Cursed, a gothic novel set in Spain that explores mourning, family secrets, and dark romance. Her works have been translated into several languages and have been praised for their originality and thematic depth. Among her accolades is the selection of Lobizona as Best Young Adult Fiction by YALSA in 2021. Garber resides in Los Angeles and continues to write novels that explore identity and cultural diversity.
