Paul Dini
Paul McClaran Dini (born August 7, 1957 in New York) is a prominent American screenwriter, producer, and comic book creator, whose influence on animation and graphic storytelling is widely recognized. He began his career in the animated industry writing for series such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Transformers, Star Wars: Ewoks, and Tiny Toon Adventures. His real professional breakthrough came with his joining Warner Bros. Animation, where he worked on Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, and Batman Beyond.

Along with Bruce Timm, he co-created iconic characters like Harley Quinn and Terry McGinnis, transforming the Batman universe with deep and thrilling scripts. He also developed series such as Freakazoid!, Duck Dodgers, and Krypto the Superdog, in addition to providing scripts for successful games like Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. On television, he was a scriptwriter and script editor for the first season of Lost and developed the series Tower Prep.

Dini has written numerous DC graphic novels, including collaborations with Alex Ross on titles such as Superman: Peace on Earth, Batman: War on Crime, Shazam! Power of Hope, and Wonder Woman: Spirit of Truth. His autobiographical story Dark Night: A True Batman Story recounts his recovery after an assault, integrating Batman icons as narrative support. He is married to magician Misty Lee and resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to contribute to the world of comics and animation with new creativity and passion.
