Pablo Semán
Pablo Semán is a sociologist and anthropologist. His research has focused on the religious, musical, literary, and political experiences of the popular sectors. Among his books, it is worth mentioning Bajo continuo: exploraciones descentradas sobre cultura popular y masiva, Religiosidad popular: creencias y vida cotidiana, as well as Gestionar, mezclar, habitar: claves de los emprendimientos musicales independientes (co-authored with Guadalupe Gallo), Cumbia: nación, etnia y género en Latinoamérica (co-edited with Pablo Vila). He is a researcher at Conicet and a professor at the Institute of High Social Studies of the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (Unsam).
