Mon Daporta
Mon Daporta is a Galician writer and teacher born in Cambados in 1952. With more than three decades of teaching experience, he is currently a Primary Education teacher at CEIP San Tomé de Cambados (Pontevedra). He is also part of the Candea pedagogical collective, which organizes training courses and activities for educators.

He is the author of several children's books and has participated in the creation of monographic books and thematic encyclopedias. His most famous work is Un bicho extraño, an illustrated story that plays with narrative structure and reader participation. This book has been translated into several languages, including Galician, and has been noted for its playful and educational approach.
