Mercedes Guerrero
Mercedes Guerrero, born in Aguilar de la Frontera, Córdoba, in 1963, is a Spanish writer who, after a distinguished career in the tourism sector, has established herself in the literary field. With a diploma in Business and Touristic Activities, she managed various companies in the sector for over fifteen years before fully dedicating herself to writing in 2010.
Her first novel, "El árbol de la diana" (2010), was incorporated into the French educational system as reading material for Spanish students. Other notable works include "La última carta" (2011), "La mujer que llegó del mar" (2012), "Las sombras de la memoria" (2014), and "Sin mirar atrás" (2016). Her narrative is characterized by exploring the experiences and feelings of the characters, offering a dynamic view of the historical context in which their stories unfold.
