Mauricio Silva Guzmán
Mauricio Silva Guzmán (Bogotá, July 2, 1968) is a Colombian journalist and writer, three-time winner of the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of BOCAS magazine and gastronomic columnist for El Tiempo newspaper.
He is the author of two books on the life and death of Colombian singer Joe Arroyo: El Centurión de la noche (2008) and ¿Quién mató al Joe? (2012); as well as El 5-0 (2013), a chronicle of the delirious match that qualified the Colombian national team for the 1994 World Cup, thrashing the Argentina National Football Team in Buenos Aires. These three works were best sellers in Colombia.
