Mary Oliver
Mary Oliver (1935-2019) was a distinguished American poet, born in Maple Heights, Ohio. Her work is characterized by a deep connection with nature and a reflection on the human experience. Throughout her career, she received numerous accolades, including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1984 for her collection "American Primitive" and the National Book Award in 1992 for "New and Selected Poems".
