Manuel Atienza Rodríguez
Manuel Atienza Rodríguez (Oviedo, 1951) is a prominent Spanish jurist and legal philosopher. PhD in Law from the University of Oviedo, he has served as a professor of Legal Philosophy at the University of Alicante, where he also directed the Doxa journal and the Master in Legal Argumentation. His academic work focuses on the theory of legal argumentation and legal philosophy.
Among his most influential works are "Curso de argumentación jurídica" (2013), "Las razones del derecho: teorías de la argumentación jurídica" (1991) and "El sentido del derecho" (2001).
