Eduardo Lora
Eduardo Lora is a Bogotan economist who has dedicated much of his life to exploring the most diverse aspects of the economic and social reality of Latin America and, in particular, of Colombia. He studied at the National University and at the London School of Economics. He was the director of Fedesarrollo (1991-1995) and chief economist at the Inter-American Development Bank (2008-2012). He is recognized as one of the Colombian academics with the most publications of international impact. He is an occasional columnist for El Espectador and other Colombian newspapers. Among his books, Economía esencial de Colombia (Debate, 2021) stands out.
