Beatriz Helena Robledo

Beatriz Helena Robledo (Manizales, 1958). Master's in Latin American Literature from Javeriana University in Bogotá, where she was a professor in the area of Children's Literature. Among her works are Anthology of Colombian Children's Stories (1997); Anthology of Colombian Youth Poetry (2000); Rafael Pombo, the life of a poet (2005); A Day of Adventures (2006); Figaro (2007); The Art of Mediation: Spaces and Strategies for Promoting Reading (2009); Long Live La Pola (2010); White Flowers for Dad (2012); Rafael Pombo, that unknown. Anthology (2013); My First Book of Colombian Poetry (2015). She received research grants from Colcultura (1996), Internationale Jugendbibliothek (2000), and Fernando Charry Lara (2006). She was a jury member for the SM Ibero-American Prize for Children and Youth Literature, the Casa de las Américas Prize in Literature for Children and Youth, and the RCN-Ministry of National Education National Short Story Contest. She was the director of the Workshop Association, Deputy Director of Reading and Writing at CERLALC, and Deputy Director of the National Library of Colombia. She currently heads the Reading Clinic, a personalized care program in reading, writing, and literature.
